No it wasn't too loud. Its a tad quieter than factory recordings and there is not distortion on any frequencies that I could hear. So I think we are fine. Eventually I will re-upload, but I am not in any particular hurry for that.

if you do reupload the new masters, to this site, upload at a higher rate, say 96 or 128 instead of 80, it will be even cleaner

The gain, was very significant. When I popped it into the cd player in my car last night, it was quite a difference. So I think the changes we made last night were worth it. Subtle but an improvement.
